High Definition is the biggest revolution in TV for years. This digibox brings you a cinema like experience with sharper, clearer, more vibrant pictures and amazing Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Also including a 160GB hard drive (often know as a 300GB drive with 160GB useable space) allowing you to record approx 150 hours of digital TV.
This v3 Thomson Sky HD Digibox can be used with a subscription or freesat card (hd/record functionality only available to subscription customers), or alternatively without for the free-to-air channels. Ideal for new customers, or existing customers looking for a replacement/upgrade digibox. Delivery - All digiboxes are despatched by UPS courier. Delivery in 1-2 days but usually next day if ordered by 2pm. Delivery cost only £6.50.
NB - This HD digibox can be used with or without the HD facility from Sky. Without, this digibox can be used to access BBC HD, Luxe HD and C4 HD, and hopefully in the not so distant future ITV HD. With the Sky HD facility, you will gain access to more HD channels as part of the subscription package you have with Sky. Please note that by subscribing to the HD channels, you pay Sky £10/month.
- To fully utilise the Sky+ record functionality, you need to install a Quad LNB and second cable. This will mean you can record one channel whilst watching another, or alternatively record two channels whilst watching something pre-recorded. You can still use the Sky+ functionality with a single cable, but will be limited to watching the channel you are recording.
