Thomson's latest Sky Digital offering is the DSI4214 digibox in the latest smooth flowing design. Commonly used by Sky for new customer installs, this digibox offers good quality picture and sound.
This Thomson DSI4214 digibox can be used with a subscription or FTV card, or alternatively without for the free-to-air channels. Ideal for new customers, or existing customers looking for a replacement/upgrade digibox.
We have found both the Thomson DSI4214 Sky Digibox and Pace DS445N much more reliable that the Amstrad DRX550, and would certainly recommend this product for its reliability and build quality. The Thomson DSI4214 is especially noted for having a stronger signal strength in fringe broadcast areas, highly recommended for outside the UK.
