Terms and Conditions of Sale

We've made our Terms and Conditions as easy and brief as possible as no one really likes to read them, but by placing your order with 'us/we/our' (Satbuyer, satbuyer, satbuyer.co.uk, satbuyer.com), you accept the following:

1. Prices
Our products and prices are subject to change. Promotional prices/offers only apply in the period stated for the promotion. Whilst we try to ensure that prices on the website are accurate at all times, we are not responsible for errors that may occur. If we discover any errors in the price of goods before we accept your order (see 4. Ordering), we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to resubmit your order at the correct price or cancel.

2. Availability
All goods and services are subject to availability. Any product stock or availability information supplied on the website is an estimate only. If on receipt of your order the goods are not available in stock we will notify you, and offer to refund you for any sum that has been paid by you, or allow you to wait until available in stock.

3. Delivery
Charges for delivery are not included in the product price and will be provided on checkout (before you submit your payment details) or by visiting here. Delivery can be made to any address in the UK, Ireland and some European countries, residential or commercial. BSkyB/Freesat are UK based satellite TV providers and therefore should only be used in such territories, using elsewhere is at your own risk, we cannot be held liable. If delivery is 'refused' due to change of mind or an issue not of the making of the courier, a charge for the original delivery cost will apply.

Every effort is made to ensure a prompt despatch of your order and delivery within the stated delivery days. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible. Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If you feel the product or packaging looks less than satisfactory and may have resulted in damage during transit, we'd recommend you sign for the parcel as "UNCHECKED" and notify us immediately. It is your responsibility to check all items ordered are included within the delivered consignment. It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days of delivery.

4. Ordering
Any e-mail or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order. All orders are subject to approval by us and your order is only accepted once we despatch. When processing your order, the information provided will be subject to credit and fraud prevention checks. For these purposes we may transfer your information to trusted third parties. Payment for the goods and delivery charges can be made by any method shown on 'our' website. Payment shall be due before the order is processed for despatch. Payment shall be a fundamental term of this agreement, breach of which shall entitle 'us' to terminate the contract immediately.

5. Payment

5.1 Payment (general customers)
We accept payment by all major debit and credit cards. Payment must be made prior to our acceptance and despatch of your order and must meet with our security checks against fraudulent purchases. In some instances we will accept payment via bank transfer, but will not accept or despatch your order until funds have cleared; subject to your banks transfer timescale.

5.2 Outstanding Payment (credit account customers only)
All outstanding payments must be received within 30 days of order delivery. Payments left outstanding beyond 90 days will be subject to a statutory interest charge of 8 per cent over the current Bank of England base rate; charged on a non-compounded rate, until the outstanding is cleared. This is in accordance with The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Faulty Goods (within 28 days of receipt)
If your purchase develops a fault within 28 days of receipt, we will exchange the item *free of charge. We will arrange the collection of the item for testing, then send you a new replacement straight away. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no exchange or repair.To exercise your right for repair/replacement, you must contact us prior to returning any goods; we cannot refund any return delivery costs you incur as a result of not contacting us first and gaining prior agreement.

6.2 Faulty Goods (outside 28 days of receipt)
If your purchase develops a fault after 28 days and within its stated warranty period you will be responsible for returning the product to us (at your cost), we will arrange to repair/exchange and return the product to you *free of charge. Alternatively we may request you contact the official manufacturer/repairer of the specific item, who will arrange collection/return of the item once repaired. Times for repair may vary. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse for which there can be no repair/exchange. To exercise your right for repair/replacement, you must contact us prior to returning any goods.

*Please note that "free of charge" applies to the UK only, for other countries, we will contribute the same value as within the UK for delivery to/from (in accordance with section 6.1 above), all additional costs will be payable by you; this is due to the competitive price you pay which doesn't cover such circumstances. Return of any faulty goods is your responsibility.

6.3 Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event your order is received damaged please contact us immediately. Please retain the original packaging for returning your order. Contact us with your order number and with details of the problem and from where and when the returned parcel can be conveniently collected. We will arrange to replace. It is your responsibility to notify us of any damaged or incorrect goods supplied within 7 days of delivery.

6.4 Unwanted Goods (within 14 days of receipt)
If you wish to cancel your order due to "change of mind" for a refund you have the right to do so, providing you notify us in writing of your intention within 14 working days of the day after delivery. Please notify us by either:

Goods returned without contacting us first for authorisation will be refused.

Any goods supplied must then be returned at your own expense, along with the returns number (RAR) we'll supply, within 14 days of your notice to cancel to us at:

Providing the goods are returned complete with all accessories and packaging, you will receive a full refund within 14 days of your notice to cancel. We have the right to delay the refund until goods are received. It's important that returned items are in the best possible condition, so please take reasonable care of them and keep all packaging. All returns are inspected and should we believe goods have been returned in an unsuitable condition, we have the right to levy a deduction to the extent that use of the goods by the customer has reduced their value. Should such a matter arise, we will discuss with you prior to any refunds being processed.

The refund will include the original cost of postage paid at the basic UK postage rate; if you paid for an enhanced service such as Express delivery, or delivery outside the UK, the basic UK postage rate will be the maximum we refund.

We are unable to accept back 'made to order' goods such as specific length cable for a refund unless they are faulty or we supplied in error.

We fully comply with Distance Selling Regulations (now called Consumer Rights Directive).

6.5 Unwanted Goods (outside 14 days of receipt)
No goods are accepted outside of the 14 day returns policy.

7. On-demand/interactive Restrictions
Sky and Freesat products are designed for use in the UK, where broadcasting restrictions apply. Whilst these products will work outside the UK with an appropriate satellite dish setup, many of the Internet based on-demand/interactive services are blocked, requiring a UK broadband connection (or suitable VPN to mask your IP address). By purchasing any Sky or Freesat product from us, you acknowledge being aware of these facts and that some of the advertised services may not be applicable to you.

8. Website Information
Any goods, services or information displayed on this website should not be regarded as an offer, invitation, solicitation, advice or recommendation to buy products or services on the website. No warranties or representations are made about any goods other than as expressly contained in this Website. To the extent permissible by law all implied terms, whether by statute or otherwise, are excluded. Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product.

9. Liability
Satbuyer's liability for any injury, damage or loss, in particular consequential loss, arising from the use of any goods purchased via this website, or from the transaction itself, are hereby excluded. Any injury, damage or loss arising directly from the negligence of Satbuyer or any of its agents will be limited to a refund of the value of the goods purchased, together with any delivery charges paid.

10. Security
While all reasonable care is taken to protect the confidentiality of your payment card details, 'we' cannot be held liable if, through no fault of our own, these details are intercepted by and used by third parties. All personal details are handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and our own Privacy Policy.

These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract. We have the right to change these terms at any time without prior agreement.
