The Manhattan Plaza G2-S is the first Freesat+HD receiver to include the latest G2 spec technology; providing high quality access to over 150 free television and radio channels, plus the ability to record up to 300 hours of SD or 125 hours of HD content on the in-built 500GB hard drive (twin tuner) with Freesat+. This is a G2 spec recorder. Available from Satbuyer, a leading Manhattan retailer.
The G2 technology within this Freesat+HD receiver is widely expected to take digital television viewing to a new level, offering much more than just watching your favourite television and radio channels. Features are expected to include access to all the interactive services including on demand from BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4OD and Demand5, with EPG intergration and much more. More information on the G2 spec is expected to be released soon.
The Freesat platform uses the same satellite setup as BSkyB, so if you already have this in place and working, you'll just need to purchase the Freesat Digital Box of choice, plug in and enjoy!

Don't forget that you'll need two cables from your satellite dish to this receiver to fully utilise the Freesat+ record functionality. With just a single cable you can still record the channel you are watching, and receive updates, but won't be able to record one channel whilst recording/watching another.
