Connections include HDMI, Scart (TV and VCR), YPbPr, Optical Out (SPDIF) and LNB In. The Humax HD also includes an Ethernet port for future on-demand services such as BBC iPlayer.

The Freesat platform uses the same satellite setup as BSkyB, so if you already have this in place and working, you'll just need to purchase the Freesat Digital Box of choice, plug in and enjoy! I am impressed with the results I get from my HD box. EXCEPT the HD looks exactly the same as 'normal' TV (did you see Frost this last Sunday and admired his whiskers, close up, incredible detail.... on standard TV?)

Have been using one of these boxes for over a year. the picture quality is fine and you can transfer the leads from your Sky box To this box and away you go. If for some reason you wish to keep both Sky & Free-sat boxes connected then replace the Dish LNB with a twin output one and connect a separate lead to the Freesat box. On the downside the HUMAX remote control I found more fiddly to use especially in low lighting conditions also the internal processor runs very slow when you first switch on. Otherwise a very good product.
