Amstrad's latest Sky Digital offering is the DRX550 digibox in the latest smooth flowing design. Commonly used by Sky for new customer installs, this digibox offers good quality picture and sound.
The Amstrad DRX550 digibox can be used with a subscription or FTV card, or alternatively without for the free-to-air channels. Ideal for new customers, or existing customers looking for a replacement/upgrade digibox.

BSkyB Acquisition of Amstrad Limited
All Sky digiboxes are manufactured in-house following BSkyB's acquisition of Amstrad; BSkyB are in the process of moving away from use of the Amstrad name and will be replacing it with the Sky name/logo. Whilst this transition is underway it is possible that the product will be labelled as "manufactured by Amstrad" or "manufactured by Sky", but in either case, there will be no difference between the products. This product might be known as the Amstrad DRX550.
